He agreed last minute to fill in for a sick teammate and to run 3 miles in snowshoes as part of our 5 person team for the Steamboat Pentathlon race on March 1st, 2008. We celebrated winning third place for the team categories that night together over dinner and we have been inseparable since!
Kind of sounds like Kate and I, only replace the 3 mile run with a night of drinking and replace the dinner, with La Bamba at 4:00 a.m. since then we have been inseparable since, oh wait Kate lives in Chicago and I live in Grand Rapids, well you get the point.
